Meet United Photo Industries. A Brooklyn-born, art-presenting cooperative dedicated to identifying, harnessing, and occasionally conjuring unexpected exhibition opportunities. All in the name of fostering conversation, championing new directions in photography, and cultivating ties within an ever-expanding, globe-trotting community of photographers.

Our mission at United Photo Industries is to promote and showcase emerging and mid-career photographers through curated exhibitions and projects in New York City and around the world.

Working in partnership with local and international programming and media partners, we concentrate on producing unique site-specific exhibitions and opportunities that explore new thematic directions in photography throughout the globe that demonstrate the universal power of photography.

Highlights include PHOTOVILLE 2012; foto/pods at the DUMBO Arts Festival in 2011 and 2012; Exhibitions at the Athens Photo Festival 2011 & 2012 and the Shanghai International Photography Festival 2012; Mi Brooklyn Postcard Photo Competition with Brooklyn Tourism; a 1000ft Photo Fence in Brooklyn Bridge Park throughout the summer of 2012 and a 340ft Photo Fence wrapping around the Manhattan Bridge Anchorage aptly titled (super)heroes;  and over 20 Exhibitions in our DUMBO Gallery since December 2011.
