For our inaugural Teen Day @ The FENCE on July 19 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, we invited teens engaged in photography programs across the city, including the Bronx Documentary Center, the LGBT Center, the Brownsville Community Justice Center, the High School of Art and Design and the Josephine Herrick Project.

Teen Day created a space for youth photographers across the city to meet, and also to connect with working artists. During a Walking Tour along with The FENCE, teens had an opportunity to hear directly about the photographers about their featured series, as well as career advice.

Read a reflection post by Lucy Qu, an intern at the Josephine Herrick project who participated in the day.
